Just saw the Avengers.....

I know I'm late to the party (worked all weekend and didn't want to cram it before or after a shift).

So thoughts on The Avengers = Amazing!!!!!!!!!! Most fun I've had at a movie in a LONG time.

This is a Comic book on screen (and in a good way - not the very bad way that could go)

Amazing action (seriously some of the best stunt-work I've seen) that was well directed.

Tons of amazing laughs (maybe the funniest movies this year).

And there was still plenty of seriousness and threats that felt very real.

The audience we had (which was very NOT a nerd/comic book crowd) Loved it as well, I can think of at-lest 3 times (not counting at the end) when they applauded.

This is what I love to see, non comic people totally getting why we love comics.

I really feel that everyone working on this "got it"

The (2nd) post credit scene, just perfect just so freaking perfect.

I was very worried with all the hype this would fall off, but no you cannot over hype this movie.

Ok one things, yes like everyone else is saying the start is a bit slow/weak but if you care about that at all by the end, you're and insane person.

I know there is already nerd talk about is this or Batman going to be the best comic movie, I have to say thats an "apples and something even less like an apple than oranges" argument.

Nolans Batman (which I LOVE) is a "realistic" take on a comic book character. This is the comic's on screen and it works.

I'm ready to watch it again RIGHT NOW.
