Yes! Just announced
Joss Whedon is signed for Avengers 2!! Don't know if it's as writer, director or both but his involvement in any way is great news to me. Oh wait, you want MORE good news?? Ok well he is ALSO working on a TV show that will take place in the Marvel "cinematic universe" !!!!
